I love making holiday cards for my clients! There are a few new designs this year, while most were offered last year. Keep in mind that all colors, fonts, and wording can be changed to suit your tastes. Also, check last year’s holiday card post since there are a few designs I didn’t include here because they weren’t very popular. Pricing for holiday cards can be found at the bottom of this post.

Cards are available on 3 different types of paper.
- Standard Semi-Gloss $40.00 (looks and feels like a regular post card)
- Linen Texture $45.00 (lightly textured, matte finish – my favorite)
- Pearl Finish $50.00 (thick and sturdy, pearl finish shimmers just a little – very pretty)
Cards come in sets of 25 with white envelopes. After you approve your design, please allow about a week for printing and shipping. Contact me soon to start the design process! As always – 10% off orders over $200.00.
I love snail mail. I think it’s fun to check the mailbox and find something other than bills! Sometimes I sort through my mail at the mailbox and only take out the good stuff. Then Neill comes along and checks it only to find bills, credit card offers, and pizza coupons. Sorry Neill!
I like getting birthday cards, holiday cards, and lately “congrats on your new marriage” cards. I LOVE email and facebook for instant gratification, but there is something really neat about getting a handwritten note in the mail. Both of my grandmothers send me notes in the mail, and every now and then I get something from my dad in CO. I like seeing my loved one’s handwriting on paper telling me they are proud of me and that they love me. I even have a special box where I save meaningful mail.
So what is my point? Snail mail is cool!!! We should all send more snail mail to the people we love. Emails can be deleted so easily, but handwritten notes can be kept forever! I was inspired to write about snail mail because of some notecards a client of mine recently ordered. Amy wanted all three of her pets and their names to be included on the front. I have the coolest clients. Her personalized cards make her snail mail even more special because the recipient gets to see her fur-babies along with reading her note. I made up a few designs for Amy and here is the one she chose.

I have learned so many fun things about my readers! Here is a recap:
- Emilee likes old time dancing and has a guinea pig names Lester. He is sooo cute and he sometimes makes appearances on her blog.
- April got stabbed by an exacto knife when she was little. Ouch!
- Melonie has never had a cavity which I find amazing! It seems like I have had several.
- There is another Rachel Sloan out there who spells her name Rachael Sloan.
- Amber can’t get enough mustard. She even likes to dip her sandwiches in it! I love mustard too but maybe not as much as she does.
- Nicole once raised a family of slugs which sounds quite interesting. I would love to know more about that.
- Jennie has a big dent in the back of her head so she can never pull a Britney.
- Jonnie wishes life was more like a musical.
- Haley can’t stand certain sounds and textures like squeaky cotton balls. Neill has this problem too! I used to think it was weird, but I’m glad to know he isn’t alone.
- Claire’s dog Roux has been on TV twice!
- Julie likes to wear her throw blanket as a cape around the house. I think she needs to get a Snuggie!
- Jamie’s family likes to break out into songs at strange times.
- Jennifer grew up listening to broadway musicals. She didn’t listen to mainstream radio until she was a teenager! Maybe she should have gotten together with Jamie’s family and hung out with Jonnie sometime?
- Deepa reads my blog from India. Wow!
This was so entertaining. I wish I could send something to all of you! Julie you really made me smile with your cape blanket, and April you are indeed a survivor! Melonie I am so jealous that you have never had a cavity! I had such a hard time choosing a winner so I decided to choose 2! Instead of 1 person getting 20 note cards…2 people will get 10! Those 2 people are Jennifer and Amber! The fact that Jennifer didn’t hear mainstream music until she was older fascinates me, and I was very impressed with Amber’s passion for mustard. Send me an email with your address and I will mail you your note cards! I even wrapped them up in cute little bundles. :)

Here is a closer look at the photo on the front of miss Annalise.

I think I might do this again sometime! Let me know if you have any ideas for fun giveaways.
